This weeks tools of the trade are:

  • Visconti Millennium Arc Moonlight - Green Acrylic
    • Fine 'Smartouch chromium tubular nib'
    • Diamine Delamere Green Ink
  • Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Black
    • Fine 21K gold nib
    • Sailor Jentle Blue-Black Ink
  • Edison Collier Persimmon Swirl
    • Medium steel Edison nib
    • Eyedroppered with Cult Pens Deep Dark Orange

The Visconti continues to be a lovely pen to write with. For some reason the nib came slightly loose at some point and I ended up with one burp of ink, whilst a pen should not burp I still love this pen for the feel and general writing experience.

The Sailor is one of those pens that I like to be available at all times, I have had it inked for over 2 years now and the only reason I would see it leaving my weekly rotation is due to now also owning a Lamy 2000 with a fine nib. I always like to have a smooth, easy writing pen with a fine nib available and a sensible ink colour. I like that this pen is traditional in looks but with a slight twist.

The Edison is just beautiful, it currently has a really smooth wet nib and was chock full of one of my favourite orange inks. After using it for the last few weeks as one of my main pens it still has a 1/4 fill left, the ink capacity is gargantuan when eyedroppered.

Reviews coming soon on the Edison & Sailor.
